Donnell Pond 2011

This year, Brad was able to head back home to Maine for the annual Dalton boating extravaganza at Donnell Pond (for last years refresher of this little piece of heaven, click here). Because I had just started my new job, I wasn't able to take time off to tag along so I got to call every night and hear about all the fun adventures. Unfortunately, about half the time Brad was there, the boat was having some engine problems (is it bad that I felt a tiny bit better knowing they weren't having tooooo much fun...) but if you know the Dalton family, they will ALWAYS have fun, no matter the circumstances. I'm glad Brad was able to go spend some quality time with his family. There are new stories and memories of ultimate tubing, card games (who really won Hearts??), and family time. This was the longest time we'd ever been apart (10 days) since we've been married but fortunately I was going crazy with work and it went by semi-quickly. Plans are already in the works for both of us to go back next summer.
