Still catching up...
Brad and I went on a hike last fall that was beautiful; it ended up at the bottom of a waterfall. Minus the busy trail and having to save a dog and two people from falling down a bank, it was wonderful being out in nature and spending time alone with Brad. It was a great hike, I'm sure we'll do it again next year.
A weekend soon after, Brad, his brother Logan, Paulita, and I went to Lagoon. It was sooooooooooooooooooooo cold but the adrenaline from the coasters kept us going. For lunch, we pounded down the nastiest Lagoon food ever and after that, I was not the same. Logan, Brad, and Paulita decided to do the sky-coaster (I would've jumped in too but the food not settling in my stomach probably would've flown out while we'd be swinging...not good). And as luck would have it, my camera's battery died right when I started the video of them swinging...
They definitely looked like that had fun! While we were there, we rode each roller coaster about 4 times. The last time we went on Wicked (the yellow and green one), I left my coat pocket unzipped and my phone flew out. I didn't realize until we got off and were walking away and I put my hand it my pocket and it was empty. I just kept thinking, "I don't want to have to get everyone's numbers again..." Paula and Brad called it to see if it went straight to voicemail (which it didn't-phew!) but everything below the coaster was cement. I for sure thought it was a gonner. Then, Logan saw the white phone against the only spot that had dirt and bushes below the coaster---MY PHONE WAS SAVED! Note to self: don't bring phone to amusement park.
Also, Brad and I joined Logan in Provo to watch the BYU vs. USU football game. It was a wonderful game with the Aggies up the whole night...but like most of their season this last year, they choked at the end of the 4th quarter and lost...very upsetting. I ate my sorrow (and calories) away in pancakes at Denny's right after.
And {drumroll....}, the picture of the day! I forgot about this picture until I was uploading the ones above. This was right after Mitchell's baptism:

Didn't know you missed out on the real fun at Lagoon - but loved seeing the picture of the rest of the gang being hoisted up. Gus is too cute. Looks like a cat with real attitude, can't wait to meet him!
