1 Month

Has it really been 1 month since we met our little man??

Birth Stats:

Weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces;

19 inches long;

Head circumference was 33.6 centimeters.

Loves his binky, caught onto eating right away.

Easy to soothe.

5-Day Stats:

Weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces [10th percentile];

19.88 inches long [41st percentile];

Head circumference was 33.8 centimeters [10th percentile].

Sleeping between 3-4 hours each night between feedings.

Falls asleep during car rides.

Found his lungs.

Starting to follow voices and sounds.

Has begun to find and  focus on faces for a brief moment.

Not a good burper [or maybe I'm not a good...uh..burpee...??].

Born with a head full of hair.

Lost just the top of his hair [has a nice "old-man ring" around the back].

Wearing newborn diapers.
Loves being talked to.  Becomes very intent and serious.

LOVES being outside.

Enjoys listening to music [piano, singing, lullabies, Sammy the Seahorse [toy from G-pa], etc.].

Like his legs being tickled.

2-Week Stats:

Weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces [20th percentile];

21.26 inches long [65th percentile];

Head circumference was 35 centimeters [11th percentile].

Loves laying on his back and kicking.

Not sure about tummy time but has a STRONG neck.

Wearing newborn and 0-3 month clothes, depending on the brand.

William brings such a peace a simpleness into our home.

We love him with all of our hearts.
