Brad and I were VERY VERY VERY spoiled with having his parents come out to Utah...and STAY with us for the whole week! It was so fun to have them here!! Because I'm not very good at taking pictures with our camera, I stole all of their pictures before they left so that I could do a photo-line of everything they were able to do while they were here (they kept super busy!).
Day 1: After flying all day Sunday and arriving in Utah late in the evening, they woke up early and went skiing at Snowbasin with Logan on Monday (unfortunately, Brad and I had to work...)
Even though they were exhausted from the day of skiing, we all made our way down to SLC to attend a Jazz game (vs. the Spurs) with our good friends, Paula and Breauna. Sad to say, this is the only decent picture we took.
Day 2: Greg and Anne met up with some friends that moved to Utah from Maine, the Passey's, for lunch and then an outing on Antelope Island (yeah, we've lived here for almost a year and we still haven't made it there...looks pretty cool though!). They got super close to those buffalo!!
Then they saw where Brad works,
hung out with the sheep and llama (look at the baby lambs!!),
and joined us for our training session with Rachele.
Day 3: Greg and Anne woke up nice and early and went on a walk on the trail down from our house, had lunch with Brad, and took it low-key with some shopping together and a mani/petti for Anne. Later that night, Anne joined me for the Young Women New Beginnings and Greg joined Brad for some church basketball.
Day 4: Greg and Anne made their way to visit their old stomping grounds in Provo and to visit Logan. Logan is a lifeguard at the Y swimming pool (so girls, don't show too much cleavage or else he'll give you a shirt that says "loaner" to wear...).
On their way back up to Layton, they made a pit-stop in SLC to visit George and Joyce who work at the Joseph Smith Building on Thursday nights (if you see Tic-Tacs falling from the 3rd floor to the desk on the bottom floor, it's probably George playing a trick) and walk around temple square. We had a nice dinner once they got home and spent the night playing cards.
Day 5: Greg, Anne, and Logan spent the morning hiking up the trail at Adams' Canyon. They went up as far as they could before the ice took over. Brad and I only worked a half day and then joined the rest of the family to head down to SLC and go to the temple, followed by dinner at Bucca di Beppo (fav!).
Day 6: We were able to spend the day skiing/snowboarding at Sundance up next to Mt. Timpanogas. It was a BEAUTIFUL day and even though the snow wasn't powder, the conditions were still good. We were also able to meet up with Natalie, a friend of the Dalton's that moved from Maine to teach at BYU.
When we made it back to Layton, I did a little bit of grocery shopping while the rest of the family went bowling (way to bowl a 222, Brad!!).
Day 7: Sunday was spent at church followed by dinner with Anne's brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Gladys Ann, Skyping with Drew, and dominoes!
Unfortunately, the fun had to end and Logan took Greg and Anne to the airport on his way back to Provo at 4:30 in the morning. We loved having them here and wish we lived closer to all of our family. We missed having Stephen and Andrew here but we're definitely looking forward to spending a week in Maine with the family in August.

WOW! Looks like you guys didn't waste a minute! FUN!
Fun times with the Daltons. I LOVE Brad's parents, they are the coolest. And hippest. They look and seem to act like teenagers. Love it.
