Oh, how we love this little boy!! He's definitely filled our home with an extra love that we've never had and didn't realize we were missing. We love seeing his curious nature unfold and being able to watch him learn.
4 month stats:
He weighs 13 pounds 12 ounces [27th percentile; only a 1 pound weight gain in the last two months!];
his length is 25 inches [54th percentile];
and his head circumference is 41 centimeters [19th percentile--yay for a bigger head!!].
Recognizing his hands and that they can grab things.
Holding an object [usually a blanket or Mom's hair] and bringing it to his mouth.
Hits his stomach all the time while swinging his arms around.
First football game!! [USU vs. BYU]
Two words--SLEEP TRAINING [don't ask].
Arches his back when mad.
Size 2 diapers.
Recognizing and responding more to his name.
Won't cradle much anymore unless he is extremely tired.
First fever :( [it was terrible].
And with his first fever came his first [two] doctor visits that weren't a well-check appointment.
Size 3-6 and 6 month clothes.
Works really hard to self-soothe himself.
Has a birthmark [on the back of his right calf].
Doctor said that his tongue is a bit tongue-tied.
Likes to sleep on his side.
LOVES to talk.
Found his feet! He LOVES staring at them [hasn't eaten them yet...just throws them up and stares].
LOVING bath time.
First tear spilled over [his eyes would water up but never spill over until now].
First hike [on Antelope Island].
Can and will sit in his high chair during meals.
1st injury--scratch from Oliver on his forehead.
And the best thing--he started giggling!!

aw, this babe is so cute! I love when you take photos on your blue comforter - his eyes just pop! And he looks so big in the high chair. We need to come visit. Or better yet, you guys should just come over to Tucson, will would love seeing the javelinas!!!
This is a late comment, but...hahaha. The wrong way doesn't detract from the adorableness of that baby, though! :)
He is soo stinking cute!! What a sweetheart you have there. Just FYI…they grow up way too fast! I can't believe that Baby Jackson is already 7 ½ months. I'm sorry about his eczema though, that must have been so hard on both you and him. :(
