With Will in our lives, it has been fun to see our family's excitement and acceptance of him. We've had more visitors, it seems like, over the past few months than we have had in awhile.
I've especially loved seeing Brad's parents become grandparents for the first time and how they've accepted and loved that role. So it's no surprise that every chance they've had to come out to visit, they have -- although coming out one at a time -- and we've enjoyed having them here.

At the end of August, Anne flew out to bring Logan back to Utah and to take Andrew to Provo as he began his collegiate career at BYU. The time was spent gawking over Will [naturally], golfing, driving back and forth [for Anne], and Mitchell's birthday celebration. Here's a picture download of a little bit of the events [which I stole from her camera, being the bad camera-taker that I am...].
Then, at the beginning of October, Greg [aka, G-Pa] flew out to spend Conference weekend with his three sons and grandson in Utah. We spent the weekend playing with Will, attending the BYU/USU football game [sooooo disappointing, I feel awful for Chuckie], running a 5K for a fundraiser to help our friend recently diagnosed with cancer, the men-folk attending the Priesthood session for General Conference [and the Sunday morning session], watching General Conference [love it!!] at home, and playing games. It was a very quick trip [Greg was here for about 3 days total].
We also had a quick visit from the Arizonians [Ben, Ayrel, and Avery] last month. It's always a party when Avery is around, she has quite the personality and LOVED being around William any chance she had. It was very rainy and cold so we stayed inside and watched movies and ate good food, one day we met up for pizza at the Pi and then walked around the University of Utah campus [and to see Sonja's new office space], and we also got together with everyone for a big family dinner.
And another fun visitor was Grandma Jensen who came up to watch my nieces and nephews while their parents were on an anniversary trip. I went down to West Jordan a few days to get to spend that one-on-one time with my Momma. And she took us to get Will's first pumpkin :)
It takes quite a bit of time, effort, and $$ to make the trip, but we so appreciate everyone's desires and motivation to come and spend time with us. There is nothing better than family.
