Amazing event #1:
My mom and sister, Ayrel, ran their very first HALF MARATHON last Saturday! They had my sister, Sonja, and Uncle Kris cheering them on saying, "We didn't come this far to see you lose!" Ayrel's husband, Ben, and his brother, Troy, also ran the race (Way to go!). We are super proud of you guys! Maybe next time we'll join you :)
Amazing event #2:
One of the coolest girls EVER got engaged. Eliese was my roommate for one month last summer and we had the FUNNEST time. We got goldfish, buried said goldfish, made wedding cakes, went to Bear Lake, cleaned up after our other messy roommate, she taught me dance dance revolution, came wedding dress shopping with me, exposed me to the beauty of Cutco knives (Was Cutco?)...she even booked the same wedding location just to make sure I had it (she didn't know that I had called the place too). She is a true friend and Landon is one LUCKY guy! Congratulations, Eliese and Landon!! I bet December 11th can't come soon enough!
Amazing event #3:
My sister, Brei, and her husband, Kelly, announced a new edition coming to their family in May 2011!! Waahoo! In response to Kyle's (the youngest) inquiry about whether bodily fluids would harm the baby, Brei told him that the baby was in a special place and the fluids wouldn't get to him/her. Kyle then said, "Oh, the baby has a force field around it!" He definitely loves his Star Wars. We're excited to meet baby Bunker! Congratulations you guys!!
And amazing event #4:
USU beat BYU in football last night! It was a fantastic game! We've lost to BYU for 17 consecutive years in football and it was awesome to be at the game last night and see us win (we never win!). We went to the game with our friends, Liz and Jonny, and Brad's friend, Joe. Jonny was really getting into the game and pulled some of the best one liners like, "If they make this bad call against us, I'm gonna streak." But in the end, even after the refs gave BYU a lot of good opportunities to come back, we still won. The fans stormed the field (we are SOOOOOOO cool) after the game. We all waited (except Jonny, he ran out on that field so fast) until it calmed down a bit and then went down to the field to snap some shots. Way to go, Aggies!!

I love that you had so much excitement in one week - and it all came out at the game! ♥ the jumping picture with the 5 of you. And the grapes behind Eliese and Landon made me drool. We had such a wonderful Concord grape arbor in Oregon that I can almost taste them just looking at that picture.
