Red Eye Drama

Brad and I decided to catch a red-eye flight to Boston this year to maximize the time we had with his family up in Maine.  My sister, Brei, took us to the airport to catch the plane and we were running a little late...fortunately, the plane was running 1.5 hours behind.  Unfortunately, the plane was 1.5 hours late...so we missed our initial connecting flight in New York and ended up in Boston 2 hours later than we originally planned.  But we had packed our carry-on full of blankets and pillows so we were ready for some sleep!  And now we're here...and alive.  And having a blast :)

Trying to catch some zzzzzz at the SLC airport.  Our flight ended up leaving at 1 am
We made it to NYC!!  Loved the eye masks and ear plugs JetBlue gave us...helped a little bit in getting a few minutes of rest.  Now, onto Boston.

Once we arrived in Boston, Brad's mom, Anne, picked us up and we headed up to Portland where we were able to visit with Grammy and Jim for a few minutes.  Then it was off to Amato's for lunch (love), dropping Brad's brother, Andrew, off at a concert, and swimming in the ocean.  Perfect day.  Then, that evening we made it to Brad's aunt and uncle's, Joanna and Keith, camp to catch up with them (it's been 3 years!) and then onto Brad's parent's new camp on Donnell Pond.  We.love.it.  Pictures of the camp to come soon...

Our view for the afternoon
Paradise!!

I don't think you are going to have too much trouble catching up on your lost sleep - looks like heaven to me!
